Well all its been too long since I have been fishing, but managed to go out last night with Dad and the guy that owns the infamos private pond, First fish I had on took a P Cola spoon and ran with it, never did see the fish but got the lure back, got a nice 30" channel cat around 7 smaller to mid size crappies and then the rest of the pictures, I never got a picture of the cats, my dad caught one, but the rest I remembered to to pull out the cell camera.
This guy was using good ole worms and caught a bunch of perch and bluegills, the bluegills were small but  every perch he got would have been on the ice if we had it they were all nice.

TC,
It sure is an awesome pond, Stripers, Largemouth, Channel Cats, Perch, Bluegill, Crappie, and I don't know what else, but so far that is what I have caught in it. I will be back up there another day, I am waiting till the fish really start to bite, then it will really be fun..

Private ponds are awesome because they are rarely over fished.

Great fun!!!

I also fished Mill Creek which feeds into Tioga lake today and missed a trout. Boy it sure feels good to get out fishing and not have to drill holes and bundle up for the cold.

JM,
Just to let you know I never causht a fish near Happy Town, when I got up there, and rounded the corner the hole next to the road and above and below it was packed with fishermen, hell from there to Lyman run was paacked.

Tiogan....
I was wondering if you got out there yet.... That stream seems to get pounded in that area early in the year. I have fished it during the week, or later in the season with no one around, but........   I like to fish below Happy Town, but I guess I am not the only one!!!

Thanks for the update, good luck!
JM

Damn Tiogan....  I just developed a new gizzard shad jig.  I need to come out to that pond and test it out on those stripers!!!
