Joe V brought up his 16ft jet boat and we went fishing today. The sky was partly cloudy 36 degrees with some high winds and the water was 37 degrees and clear. We didn't have to shovel snow to get the boat in but the ramp had about 8" of mud on it. We caught 6 fish today. 5 smallies from 14" to 18 1/2" and a carp. All were caught on hair jigs. Mine were all caught on JJ's Jigs black woolybugger. We were the only boat on the river. all fish were released.
