Winter Pics
Here are some action shots from Ore Hill (Home of the 2014 Winter Olympics) I think we will add competitve snow plowing to the growing list of events.
This is the view from my place onto the road....and the snow plow competition that started last Saturday. Fortunately, the competition spilled over into my driveway later in the day....although I had already hand shoveled out two vehicles as well as clear shot to the road. I guess the exercise was good for me, but.......
Who got the gold? Team Redneck? Team crash?
Well, there was another plow out there a little later......you know the type of truck....red door, green hood, no muffler. He kicked ass. It was close, that was for sure! The guy on the four wheeler.....absolutely out manned.

Just on a side note -
You could add up all the snow that dropped up here in the North Country and it doesn't even add up to the snowfall you received.
I'm not rubbing it in, I'm just amazed at the snowy mess that landed in the SE and Central part of the state. Usually the NC section of the state gets pounded on. But Groundhog Phil said winter isn't over yet.... we still could get ours!
All I keep thinking is.......how good of shape my favorite trout stream will be in this year! Got to think positive........
Plus, I am sure we will get at least one more good storm before the weather starts to turn.....

BTW.... my wife and kids will be going on another vaca without me (like last year). Wanna come up again?
Do a little DFP smallie action?
Also, did we plan the Galeton thing yet? Like dates... cuz I'm in. The Colonel gave her official blessing.
YES, and we need to lock on some dates for Galeton. What dates did you have in mind? The end of April, early May? I would take a couple extra days off of work depending on what is what......
These pictures BTW.....I took them through the screen on the window. With the yelling and swearing going on out there, I didn't want to get drawn in to a fight..........
