One of the bigger cats I caught tonight, the bigger ones went back in the pond. My boots measure 13" heel to toe, so that should give you an idea of the size of this one.

These last two pictures are what went into the frying pan, Stocked another pond with 3 cats, 2 perch and one bluegill, all told we caught around 15 cats, 8 perch, 5 crappie, 2 of them small and one bluegill. Not bad for 2 hours of fishing.

You are like a WIZARD!   Look at those fish! Great fish, what were you using for bait?

Very small 1/32 or 1/64th oz, glow in the dark jigs, one is called a ratso, I got it at Gander Mountain, tipped with a wax worm. Since I have started using these glow in the dark jigs, the Ratso or any of them I have caught more fish. I also watched a show on TV called the Ice Men, shows a few different ways of jigging, one is to do a jig upwards stopping and starting lifting the jig up 2 to 4 ft, then letting it fall. The other way is to swim the jig side to side in the hole, I don't know if all of this helps but it seems to work for me most of the time. Another thing I do is let the jig sit on the bottom and then just pick it up 3 to 6 inches and bounce it, most of the cats came from the bottom or just off the bottom, we also moved to deeper water and that sure helped, 18 to 20 FOW seemed to pay off today.

It sure does look like it paid off.  2 hours for a pile of fish.  And they were nice fish.

I'll see what kinds of glow in the dark pain I can pick up locally.  I'll let you know.

I get my glow in the dark paint from Hagens. I doctor up my night lures with it.
