Places I would love to fish (and might some day) and why......

Rio Negro, BrazilWhy??  GIANT Peacock bass.....  These fish are monsters and I have always wanted to spend a week on a houseboat and do nothing but fish my ass off for some GIANT bass.....  This would be a trip to do with a friend..... Always need a friend in Brazil.....

Golfo Dulste (Osa Peninsula), Costa RicaWhy??  WOW!!!  Name the fish!!  All kinds of Marlin, Sailfish, Wahoo, Dolphin fish, Yellowfin Tuna, Roosterfish, Snapper and Grouper just to name the most common.  This would be an entire week minimum.... and if I could get a job out there, I would probably NEVER come back.....

Himalayas of IndiaJesus.... first because I always wanted to visit India, but for the spin and fly fishing that is available on all of the beautiful streams and rivers that come off of these pristine mountains.  There are tons of species to fish for, the most popular being the Golden Mahseer and the Coonch Catfish.  I might give a day to these species... I would rather fly fish some little streams and rivers.....

Puerto Vallarta, MexicoJust GIANT Marlin and Tuna fishing, and that is about it.  That is all I would fish for.....  for pictures and maybe a big mounter I would have to pay BIG BUCKS to JustFish to replicate for me.  LOL!!  Seriously... its close, not too expensive  and all I need is my Passport.....  HHhmmmm..... Maybe this will be the first one I save up for.... You in 007???  Bet your cousin would be!!!

Suriname (South America)Saw this spot on a TV show (Larry Dahlberg) and just fell in love.  I have been researching this tiny little country lately and all it has to offer.  This would be a place I would take the entire family as there is so much to do, see and enjoy.  This would be a perfect vacation.  The boys and I could fish all day and the wife could spa out to her hearts content.  Wolffish, giant Traihira, red tail catfish, pacu and black piranahas.  Sweet.....  Little expensive per person but it looks well worth the money....

The "Lost Coast" of AlaskaMan oh man.... Fly fishing, spin fishing and saltwater fishing all in one location.  Pristine waters and huge fish.  King and Silver Salmon, Halibut, Ling Cod, Rockfish, Steelhead and Dolly Vardon as well as other specied of bottom fish.  This is a "Mancation" to the extreme.... no soft girlies on this trip at all.

Bering Sea, AlaskaI once had an opportunity to go on an all expense paid trip (except for airfare) to fish the bering sea for Tuna and Halibut.  Jesus.... my buddy got the opportunity and then chickened out because it was the winter (dark) time of year.  He was afraid of freezing his balls off.  I would of gladly given up my right nut to go on the trip.  A friend of his had paid for the trip for him and his brother, but then they had a family issue and couldn't go.  All we had to do was pay our own airfare out there and we would of been on the adventure of a lifetime.  I had all ready told my boss I was gone for a week and had estimates on the travel expenses when he called me an pussied out.  MAN WAS I PISSED!!!!  I didn't talk to this guy for almost 6 months because of it.  I was upset.  I would love to fish the Bering Sea, at anytime of year.  That is an adventure......

Numerous Rivers in MontanaNow that I have picked up on FlyFishing, I would love to have the cash to take a friend & guide (Like JM, Matt or Dpiscator) to show me where to go on the Yellowstone, Gallatin, Madison or Missouri Rivers.  Fly fishing at its finest I am told.... Well, I must experience it!!!!JM has posted a few pics.... but I wanna fish where she is fishing....

Eagle Lake, Ontario CanadaThis is a trip I WILL TAKE in the next five years with 007.  This is a PURE MUSKY HUNT.  Not the little musky's, but those big fat 50lb bastards that take you over an hour to bring in on lite tackle.  No 75lb test here, 20lb test at best working a monster of a fish that fights like you would if something hooked you in the mouth and started dragging you around your yard!!  I have been watching shows, internet videos and heard from Jersey friends that made the trip, and they all say this is the place to go if you want to catch REAL HUGE MUSKY's!!!  There are a few other notable places I would want to check out as well like Crow Lake, Lake of Woods, Nester Falls, Little Vermillion Lake (largest lake in an 11 lake system) and more.....

MY ALL TIME MUST GO!!!!Sutherland, ScotlandFlyfishing and spin fishing for TROUTIES!!!!  YES!!!!  I have scottish heritage (highlands) and would love to spend a couple weeks wandering the countryside with just a backpack, rod, reel, flypole and gear.  Eat what I catch and drink at the inns.  This could be a solo trip or one with my son when he is older or a good friend.  Again, if I go without the family there is a big possibility that i will never return to the states again.  Scotland is my dream......

Connemara, IrelandBecause its Ireland and I heard the fishing is good here, real good in May.  So, why not?  Celebrate Cinco de Mayo in Ireland??  SURE!!!!

South Stradbroke Island, AustraliaFlathead from the shore, and excellent fishing offshore for all sorts of species.  Just an excellent place to go to.... if you have a couple weeks (the travel time will SUCK!!!)

Tusket River, Nova Scotia, Canada"Then away to the heart of the deep unknown, where the trout and the wild moose are. Where the fire burns bright, and the tents gleam white, under the northern star" (Albert Bigelow Paine, The Tent Dwellers, 1908). I had long dreamed of staying in a log cabin in the backwoods of North America, Jack London-style, idling my days away flicking out a fly in search of brook trout. The Tusket River lies in the Tobeatic wilderness: deep, deep forest and home to black bear as well as moose.

River Lochy, Queenstown, New ZealandQueenstown is the self-proclaimed adrenalin sports capital of the world, and while some people may raise an eyebrow at the mention of fly-fishing in the same sentence as steely-nerved bungee jumping, this is undoubtedly the high-octane end of the sport. There are only two ways into the Lochy River - by helicopter or by boat across Lake Wakitipu. Sheltering beneath trees and behind rocks in the gin clear waters that run through the folds of the Eyre Mountains, the wild brown and rainbow trout grow to thumping great sizes, although they are notoriously skittish.

River Lanio, Swedish LaplandA hypnotic slice of wilderness. Salmon, sea trout and grayling glide through fast-flowing glacial waters.

Rio Grande, Tierra del Fuego, ArgentinaIt's good to dream ... this is the holy grail for fly-fishermen. The end of the rainbow at the bottom of the world, it costs a king's ransom to organise, but ticks all the right boxes for walloping fish, scenery and adventure. Maybe one day... when I win the lottery.

Finally.....Walkers Cay, BahamasJust because I have had so many Jersey friends go there and have the times of their lives.  Great saltwater fishing.  Walkers has been devistated by hurricanes, but they are rebuilding and the fishing is better than ever.  This wouldn't be too expensive of a trip.  Would probably make a great TTA Expadition if we all got together and planned it out a few years from now and started making deposits for the trip.  I know a guy that could probably fly us down there on the cheap.  LOL!!!
