Evening Fishing 9/18

Hit a local creek tonight.  Nice big hole I stumbled upon... I've never fished it.  After 10 casts at the head of the this pool I didn't think there was any fish.  As I walk back downstream I snapped this pic of the pool I put the cell phone away and said, "what the hell, I'll make a cast or two at the tail of the pool."

I'm glad I did.  Chubs, dink smallies, and rockbass where the willing contestants.  I caught fish after fish!  Must be something in the air?  There is no sense posting a bunch of pics of little creek fish but I'll show you something....    yes, Virgina...  I do use split shot.  I'm not a purist!!  Well crap.. I just looked at the pic and you can't see my split shot.  Trust me it was on the leader!  The pool is about 15ft deep and they wouldn't hit anything until you had it at least 4 foot down.
