Cayuta Creek

Hi guys, thanks for the info on cayuta creek. I made it out there on friday and did well. Im thinking about heading out there again tomorrow does anyone know how high the creek is after the rain? Its about 45 min drive from my house and dont feel like getting up early if its unfishable. From what i saw further downstream in Waverly it looked pretty high...  If you can find the slower pockets or slack water the fish will hold up there in the high water...  Depending on the weather tonight (Rain or not) it might be ok tomm..   Also dont forget your pink worms!! They are the ticket!! And you can fish the special regulations area with them... Also if the creek is still a little off color those worms stick out like a sore thumb!  I would give it a try, beats sitting at home on your day off!

Made it out to Cayuta today. Water level was just a little high and clear but dropping for now. Went 1-3 all fish hooked and released in the artificials only section. Lots of people out today but not much catching going on from I could see.

Do they stock fish down in the artificials only section or are they holdovers and wild fish?

They do stock in the ALO section.
